My mission is to help people create homes that feel personal, comfortable, and functional—without the overwhelm.
Design Services
Kenwood Home offers approachable, personalized design guidance to help you make confident decisions for your home. I work alongside you as a design partner—helping clarify your vision, refine your selections, and build a clear, comfortable path forward. My role focuses on planning and direction: you'll receive detailed design guidance and curated shopping lists, while you stay in control of ordering, contractor communication, and execution on your own timeline.
Services are organized by the type of space you're working on, so you always know exactly what to expect before we begin—and can get started with confidence.
-
Ideal for kitchens and full bathrooms.
For rooms where layout, materials, and long-term decisions carry the most weight. Major Spaces involve the highest number of selections and benefit most from clear planning upfront, ensuring everything works together functionally and visually for years to come.
-
Ideal for laundry rooms, mudrooms, pantries, and powder baths.
For hardworking rooms that support your daily routines. These spaces may be smaller in scope, but they benefit greatly from thoughtful layout, smart storage planning, and durable material choices that hold up to everyday use.
-
Ideal for living rooms and dining rooms.
For shared spaces where comfort, flow, and everyday function matter most. This package focuses on furniture layout, scale, lighting, and overall feel—helping the room work well for both daily life and gathering.
-
Ideal for bedrooms and home offices.
For rooms designed around rest, focus, and individual use. This package helps create spaces that feel calm, organized, and tailored to how you actually live, with attention to comfort, storage, and the finishing details that make a room feel complete.
-
Ideal for spaces that are mostly complete but not quite finished.
Sometimes a room just needs a final push to feel pulled together. This service focuses on the last layer of decisions—paint colors, lighting updates, hardware, styling, and décor—so everything comes together in a way that feels cohesive and intentional.
-
For when you're stuck on a decision and could use a little design direction.
Sometimes you don't need a full design plan—you just need someone to help you think through a decision, weigh your options, or give honest feedback on what you're already working with. A Design Consultation is a focused, 60-minute conversation built around your specific design questions.
Consultations are available virtually or in person. When scheduling an in-person consultation, a travel fee will be collected at the time of booking.
The Design ProcessEvery project at Kenwood Home follows a simple, thoughtful process designed to feel clear and approachable from start to finish. Here’s what you can expect when working together:
01
Getting Started
Click the “Let’s Get Started” button and fill out the contact form to learn more about the design services offered at Kenwood Home. When you’re ready, choose the package that fits your project best, select how many rooms you’d like help with, and purchase online to reserve your place on the calendar.
02
Project Set-Up
After your package is purchased, I’ll get everything set up behind the scenes. You’ll receive a welcome email with a short questionnaire and a link to schedule your kickoff meeting. This helps me understand your space, your goals, and how you want your home to feel before we begin.
03
Kickoff Meeting
During the kickoff meeting, we’ll walk through your space, priorities, and any questions you have. This conversation helps clarify direction and ensures we’re aligned before design work begins.
04
Design Development
This is where the creative work happens. I’ll develop thoughtful, approachable design guidance tailored to your space—whether that includes layout direction, materials, furniture, or finishing details. My goal is to provide clear, realistic recommendations that feel achievable and aligned with your home.
05
Review + Refine
Once your design guidance is ready, I’ll send everything over for you to review. You’ll have time to look through the ideas, ask questions, and collaborate on any refinements so the final direction feels right for your space.
06
Wrap-Up
After the design process is complete, you’ll have a clear plan to guide your next steps. I’ll send a follow-up email with everything organized in one place, along with a small thank-you and an opportunity to share feedback. Even after the project wraps, I’m always happy to see how your space comes together.
