My mission is to help people create homes that feel personal, comfortable, and functional—without the overwhelm.
Design Services
Kenwood Home offers approachable, personalized design guidance to help you make confident decisions for your home. I work alongside you as a design partner—helping clarify your vision, refine your selections, and build a clear, comfortable path forward. My role focuses on planning and direction: you'll receive detailed design guidance and curated shopping lists, while you stay in control of ordering, contractor communication, and execution on your own timeline.
Services are organized by the type of space you're working on, so you always know exactly what to expect before we begin—and can get started with confidence.
-
Ideal for full kitchen updates, remodels, and new builds.
For the rooms with the most decisions—layout, cabinetry, counters, backsplash, lighting, and hardware all need to work together. This package covers every one of those decisions with clear, coordinated direction, whether you're building new, remodeling, or refreshing what you have.
-
Ideal for primary, guest, and hall baths—any bathroom with a tub or shower.
Bathrooms pack a lot of permanent decisions into a small footprint—tile, vanity, counters, fixtures, and lighting all have to work together, and they will live there for awhile. This package gives you a complete, coordinated plan so every selection is made with confidence.
-
Ideal for laundry rooms, mudrooms, pantries, and kitchenettes/bars.
For the rooms designed around how you actually live—the drop zones, storage, and everyday routines that keep your home running. These spaces benefit greatly from thoughtful layout, smart storage planning, and durable material choices that hold up to everyday use.
-
Ideal for living rooms, dining rooms, and playrooms.
For shared spaces where comfort, flow, and everyday function matter most. This package focuses on furniture layout, scale, lighting, and overall feel—helping the room work well for both daily life and gathering.
-
Ideal for bedrooms and home offices.
For rooms designed around rest, focus, and individual use. This package helps create spaces that feel calm, organized, and tailored to how you actually live, with attention to comfort, storage, and the finishing details that make a room feel complete.
-
Ideal for spaces that are mostly complete but not quite finished.
Sometimes a room just needs a final push to feel pulled together. This service focuses on the last layer of decisions—paint colors, lighting updates, hardware, styling, and décor—so everything comes together in a way that feels cohesive and intentional.
-
For when you're stuck on a decision and could use a little design direction.
Sometimes you don't need a full design plan—you just need someone to help you think through a decision, weigh your options, or give honest feedback on what you're already working with. A Design Consultation is a focused, 60-minute conversation built around your specific design questions.
Consultations are available virtually or in person. When scheduling an in-person consultation, a travel fee will be collected at the time of booking. And if you're ready for more after we talk, your consultation fee is credited toward any design package booked within 30 days.
The Design ProcessEvery project at Kenwood Home follows a simple, thoughtful process designed to feel clear and approachable from start to finish. Here’s what you can expect when working together:
01
Getting Started
Reach out through the contact form or book a discovery call and tell me a little about your space. I'll follow up with pricing, current availability, and a link to the design packages, and we'll figure out together which one fits your project best. Once you've chosen, you'll purchase online to reserve your spot on my calendar.
02
Project Set-Up
You'll get a welcome email with a short questionnaire and a link to schedule your kickoff. The questionnaire is where you tell me about your space, your budget, and your goals, so I show up to our first meeting already knowing where we're headed.
03
Kickoff Meeting
We'll walk through your space, your priorities, and how you want the room to feel. This is where we get aligned before design work begins. Your timeline starts here, so you'll always know when to expect your plan.
04
Concept + Direction
Full-room designs start with a concept board: a first look at the colors, materials, and overall feel. You'll have a chance to provide feedback before I go any further, so we're headed somewhere you love from the start.
05
Design + Refine
Once the direction is set, I'll pull together the full plan for your room—layout, selections, and a visual so you can picture the whole space before anything gets ordered. Every package includes refinement rounds, so we can fine-tune the details until everything feels right.
06
Wrap-Up
Your finished plan comes to you as one organized guide with everything in it. The layout, every selection with its source and price, your visual, paint colors, finishes, and notes on how it all works together. It's yours to keep and work from at your own pace.
